This direct core-aligning splicer offers precision high strength splicing, specialty fiber splicing and attenuation, essential process for designing and building the latest opto-electronic devices.

Applicable Optical Fiber S182A: SM/MM/DS/EDF etc. for splicing fiber of same mode field diameter. S182K: SM/MM/DS/EDF etc. for splicing fiber of different mode field diameters.
Coating/clad diameter 0.25, 0.4mm (optional 0.9mm for normal strength splice only)/0.08?0.15mm
Cleave length 3?5mm (16mm for 0.9mm coating diameter)
Average loss SM: 0.03dB,MM : 0.02dB,DS: 0.05dB
