Product Overview

     S182PM Polarization Maintaining Fusion Splicer. All refurbished FITEL equipment includes a limited 1-year warranty. A recent addition to the Fitel Technologies line of Fusion Splicers, the S182PM Fiber Fusion Splicer is designed to address all your production and research splicing needs. The S182PM offers fully automated splicing for PANDA, dissimilar and specialty fiber types including EDF and conventional fiber. The S182PM delivers a fast 2 minute PM fiber splice with an average low splice loss of 0.07db and a high extinction ratio of 32db.

     The S182PM combines all of these features in an ergonomic, easy-to-use machine designed for high-productivity and short excess fiber length.

  • Full automated splicing for PM Fibers (PANDA, TIGER), Specialty Fibers, SM and MM fibers
  • Rotational Alignment System available for PM Fibers (PANDA, TIGER)
  • Core alignment System available for Specialty Fibers and SM fibers
  • High Strength Splice (average 20N) with FITEL special tools
  • Fiber Holder System for easy use and stable high-strength
  • Extinction ratio & Splice loss estimation function
  • Fast Panda & Tiger fibers with coating clamp splices in 100 & 170 sec
  • Remote Control Program(RCP) with PC is available (Option)
