The 676RE/671R Power Meters offer unparalleled measurement capacity, accuracy and flexibility. Thirty two (32) individual detectors allow for easy repeatable connection of any fiber type because it can accept singlemode fiber as well as multimode fibers. The benefit of this multi-channel power meter is that it uses one detector per channel thus eliminating repeatability errors found in switched systems.
In addition, each detector is individually calibrated at 850, 1300 and 1550nm (780 and 850nm on 674R model). For data security, all calibration data is protected by two independent and fully redundant non- volatile EEPROMS.
