Product Overview
Wireless phones for nearly every wireless telephone system in the world can be tested using just one MT8801C Radio Communication Analyzer.
These systems include IS-95 and CDMA2000 1X (all 10 band classes), AMPS, GSM, GPRS, HSCSD, IS-136, and PDC. The frequency range covered is 300 kHz to 3 GHz. The spectrum analyzer function covers 10 MHz to 3 GHz with a resolution of 1 Hz and is very useful for measuring spurious near carrier as well as general-purpose troubleshooting.
In Addition, The analyzer has a full lineup of useful functions including marker, delta marker, and gate sweep functions. It also has advanced displays such as average, max. hold, cumulative and overwrite. Trace A and Trace B can be measured on a dual screen in the frequency domain, along with noise power, C/N, occupied bandwidth, adjacent channel power, and average power of burst signal. GP-IB and RS-232C interfaces are standard.
The power meter with built-in thermocouple power sensor can accurately measure power between 0 and +40 dBm. The MT8801C can measure adjacent channel power for each communication system at high speed.
