Product Overview

     The LDC-3908 8-Channel Laser Diode Controller and LDC-3916 16-Channel Laser Diode Controller both have the same great features. In fact, modules are interchangeable between the two instruments. Model LDC-3916 provides up to 16 channels of laser diode current source and temperature control in a space-saving, 3U-high instrument. The smaller size and lighter weight of the LDC-3908 make it an ideal instrument for smaller channel count applications such as R&D or production test of EDFAs and Raman amplifiers. Both instruments have handles on the front panel and flip-up feet on the bottom to facilitate bench-top use, while flanges allow easy installation into standard 19 inch instrument racks. A variety of smart controller, current source, and TEC modules are available.
