Calmar's Ultra Broadband Light Source (UBS) is ideal for CWDM and DWDM component, module and network testing applications. It provides more than 700nm bandwidth to cover almost all the existing wavelength channels in optical communications from 1200 to 1900 nm.
UBS is designed and manufactured based on Calmar¿s femtosecond fiber laser technology and the super continuum concept.
UBS-01 has excellent spectrum uniformity, i.e. less than 10 dB over the whole wavelength range. In addition, it provides stable output power.
UBS-01 is simple to operate and is a turnkey solution.
