The A2000 is a compact high-speed Component Analyzer which provides characterization of optical components and (sub-)systems regarding:

• Polarization Dependent Loss (PDL)
• Spectral Loss

      The instrument uses the Jones Matrix Eigenanalysis (JME) measurement method which is recognized in industry as the ¿Gold method¿. Adaptif¿s implementation of this method guarantees:

• High speed measurement: less than 30s for full PMD/PDL analysis across C and L band
• Robustness against fiber movements and drifts ¿ sensitivity to environmental impacts greatly reduced compared to traditional JME implementations
